He had suffered a heart attack

A man died after he fell forward and hit the cabin of the MRT train when the train reached Bukit Batok station. He collapsed on the ground and injured his spine. The man suffered heart attack before the accident and had hypertension. That made his death "not natural”. A witness saw Mr Chua "wobbling" on the platform because he was unwell but no assistance was given to him. The deceased appeared to have hit his head against the side of the cabin before he collapsed. He was announced to be dead after the ambulance came at 6.13a.m.
